<br />5. Duties <br />The Personnel Committee shall: <br />a) Review and provide recommendations to the City Council regarding personnel policies, <br />employee handbooks, employee benefit offerings, and organizational procedures; <br />b) Review proposed position descriptions, classifications, and compensation structures prior to <br />Council consideration; <br />c) Participate in the final interview process of Department Directors as needed; <br />d) Participate, as directed by the Council, in processes related to the evaluation of the City <br />Administrator and other appointed officials; <br />e) Review staff conduct investigation findings and recommend disciplinary actions as needed; <br />f) Serve as an advisory forum for discussion of employee relations, recruitment, and retention; <br />and <br />g) Perform such other personnel-related duties as may be assigned by the City Council. <br />6.
