Resolution declared adopted. <br />Russ Fischer, Metro Cleaning Service located at 209 Ryan Lane, <br />has requested that the Council table action on his Conditional Use <br />Permit and Variance request pending the outcome of soil borings <br />which he is having done on his property. <br />Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -8-219 — TABLING ACTION ON THE RUSS <br />FISCHER, METRO- CLEANING, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />AND VARL4NCE APPLICATION AT THE REQUEST OF THE <br />APPLICANT PENDING A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the division of the <br />Bill Richie property located at 2966 LaBore Road into three lots. It was <br />noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval subject to <br />the property owner entering into a covenant restricting the future <br />subdivision of the parcel. <br />Fahey indicated that he would like to see a plan for how the area will <br />develop in the future. His concern was that the property division would <br />result in landlocking the future development of property in the back, and <br />felt that the City needed to take steps to provide for access into this area. <br />Fahey agreed that the way to develop the area would be with a road <br />coming in from Arcade Street. However, there needs to be an outlet <br />provided to LaBore Road for this access road. <br />Scalze noted that in 1992 the City Planner did a preliminary road layout <br />for the area. She was not sure whether this layout was based on any <br />Page 6 <br />
