MINUTES City Council Feb. 22, 1934 Heather Oaks (Cont.) '!r. Duncan McClellan explained to the Council that the lending institution would like separate lots for each unit, rather than one lot held under common ownership. There are no other changes in the lay —out of the development. E. Mrs. Nardini commented that this is just a housekeeping item and that the streets would be owned by the Homeowners Association. Mr. McClellan commented that there are plans for a buffer on the westerly side of the development. Mr. Fahey asked if something higher could be put in, for example pine trees. Ir. McClellan stated that he was agreeable to this. '.fr. Thul, a resident of the area, stated that he would like to see a fast — growing type of vegetation planted. Thul also requested that this be done soon to give the vegetation as much growing time as possible. The Planner stated that trees with a 2 —inch diameter would be required. The Planner stated that there was no point in mixing types of plantings as one type may kill off the other. The Planner suggested that the plantings could be staggered and planted as close together as possible. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 84 -2 -81 — AMENDING THE HEATHER OAKS PUD AG°.EEMENT'TO REQUIRE AN EVERGREEN TYPE OF PLANTING ON THE '•TESTERLY EDGE OF THE HEATHER OAKS PROJECT TO 3E PLANTED AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE AND STAGGERED AND TO BE PLANTED DUPING 1984 AFTER COMPLETION OF GRADING OF THE SITE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. Ayes (4) Nardini, Forsberg, Fahey, Scalze. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 10, Page 90.
