They also mentioned that their use of these facilities would be <br />minimal as compared to their overall potential. <br />Services to be Offered by CCC: <br />The attached sheet entitled "Community Impact ", contains a listing of programs to be <br />offered. Of those listed, only day care, after school latchkey, and auto repair for single <br />moms are not currently offered. <br />They further explained a study they commissioned that looked at the needs of our area <br />within a 5 -mile radius of this site. The top three needs emphasized: <br />1. Sports /camping <br />2. Cultural Programs (music, drama, etc.) <br />3. Marriage Enrichment <br />A cooperative arrangement with St. John's Parish for the provision of services was also <br />mentioned as a mechanism to increase community benefit, <br />Facility Plans: <br />The attached diagram entitled "Campus of Christ Community Church" is not a final plan. <br />Based on our discussions, development would proceed as follows: <br />1st Phase — Renovate the former Knox store area (45,000 sq. ft.) into <br />church, classrooms, meeting rooms, and offices. This would take <br />place ASAP. <br />2nd Phase — Upgrade the parking lot, remove the outbuildings, <br />add /renovate recreation building, add green space. The general time <br />line would be within the next three years. They also indicated a <br />willingness to remove the outbuildings sooner if that would meet the <br />City's needs. <br />3rd Phase — Construct future auditorium, expand parking (this is depicted <br />on diagram in athletic field area), develop south end of parcel into <br />ball /soccer fields. <br />Page 7 <br />
