Resolution <br />Board of <br />Ramsey County Commissioners <br />'resented By Commissioner Haigh Date August 14, <br />Attention: Budgeting and Accounting <br />Dorothy McClung, Property Records and Revenue <br />2001 No. 2001 -283 <br />WHEREAS, By Resolution 2001 -129, the Ramsey County Board authorized <br />the County Manager to work with the cities and school districts to develop a joint <br />powers agreement that provides for reimbursement to the County based on the <br />number of vote tabulators used in each city; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff from Property Records and Revenue and the County <br />Attorney's Office worked on a draft joint powers agreement (JPA) incorporating the <br />Board's direction; and <br />WHEREAS, The draft Joint Powers Agreement was sent to city managers, <br />city administrators, city clerks and city election clerks; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff met with the municipal officials to review the draft, and <br />based upon discussion, the Joint Powers Agreement was amended; Now, <br />Therefore, Be It <br />RESOLVED, The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners hereby <br />approves the Joint Powers Agreement for Election System Replacement; and Be It <br />Further <br />RESOLVED, The Board authorizes staff to send copies of the approved <br />Joint Powers Agreement to each Ramsey County Municipality requesting their <br />approval. <br />RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />YEA NAY <br />fony Bennett X <br />Sue Haigh X <br />im McDonough X <br />tafael Ortega X <br />Victoria Reinhardt X <br />Tanice Rettman X <br />fan Wiessner X <br />OTHER <br />Page 22 <br />Rafael E.
