C. FEES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The CITY agrees to pay the CONSULTANT for services rendered as follows: 1. For the CONSULTANT'S Basic Services described in Paragraph A above, a fee based on the CONSLUTANT'S current hourly rate schedule (see Attachment A) not to exceed Fifty -Two Thousand Dollars ($52,000.00), including expenses. 2. For the CONSULTANT'S Additional Services described in Paragraph B, a fee based on the CONSULTANT'S current hourly rate schedule plus incidental expenses or a negotiated fee. 3. Statements will be submitted to the City on a monthly basis as work is completed and shall be payable within 30 days in accordance with this Agreement. 4. The CONSULTANT reserves the right to suspend services if the CITY is delinquent in making payments in accordance with this Agreement. D. CITY'S RESPONSIBILITY The CITY shall be responsible for the following: 1. The assembly of background information including, but not limited to: A. Base mapping information for the study area and surrounding area (in digital form whenever possible) to include parcel boundaries, parcel data from assessor, topography, natural features and surface water features, infrastructure and any other information that may be useful in understanding the conditions that exist within or near the study area B. Relevant studies and plans affecting the study area and surrounding area including comprehensive plans and zoning ordinances from each city, plans for approved or pending projects affecting the study area, transportation and roadway improvement plans for state, county and local roads (including traffic volume infunuation), existing and future transit service plans, and other plans and studies that may influence development within the study area C. Studies and plans for the watershed management organization, local and regional park and trail plans, and other information related to environmental conditions of the study area and surrounding area 2. Mailing lists, printing, postage and the mailing of notices for Task Force meetings and invitations for public meetings, including provision of required notices and advertisements. 3. Arrangements for public meetings, including provision of meeting space. 4. Reproduction and distribution of all interim reports for the Task Force and Technical Advisory Committee. E. COMPLETION SCHEDULE The services of the CONSULTANT will begin upon City Council approval and will, absent of causes beyond the control of the CONSULTANT, be completed by October 26, 2001.
