CHAPTER 9 <br />RESIDENCE ONE DISTRICT <br />(b) Recreational facilities as follows: <br />1) Athletic fields, parks and playgrounds. <br />2) Golf clubs, <br />(c) Crop or truck farming but not including commercial feed lots or other commeroial <br />operations. <br />(d) Nurseries, tree Earns, and greenhouses, but not including retail sales. <br />(2) Accessory Uses: <br />(a) Private garages. <br />(b) Greenhouses related to private residential use. <br />(c) Tool houses, sheds and other similar accessory sheds up to 120 square feet for the <br />storage of domestic supplies. <br />(d) Privately owned swimming pools and tennis courts for the use and convenience of the <br />residents. <br />(e) Rectories, parsonages and parish houses. <br />(0 Signs as prescribed in the City Sign Code. <br />(3) Special Uses: <br />(a) Single family detached dwellings not served by public sewer (subject to environmental <br />constraints as determined by the City Engineer). <br />(b) Two-family dwellings according to the following conditions: <br />1) Minimum lot area per dwelling unit: 7,000 square feet <br />2) Minimum lot width: 100 feet (120 feet- -comer lots) <br />3) Minimum tot depth: 120 feet <br />4) The structure must be considered generally compatible and harmonious by the <br />City Council with the surrounding dwellings in terms of scale, height, and <br />exterior design. <br />(c) Home occupations according to the following condltions: <br />I) The home occupation shall be carried on by a member of the family residing <br />in the dwelling unit, provided that the permit may allow not more than one <br />employee who is not pan of the family, <br />2) The home occupation shall be carried on wholly within the principal or <br />accessory structures. <br />3) Objectionable noise. vibration, smoke, dust, electrical disturbance, odors, heat, <br />or glare shall not be produced. <br />24 <br />Page 72 <br />
