Terminations of fences, definition of the landscape groupings,
district monuments and community markers might all occur with elements of similar form and character,
but of varying size and ornament.
atLNMN
• an Wlluj4n „ ,W41 AI•AYr
Figure 4:A variety of marker and monument elements might be developed to create a signature/identity for the community
and the redevelopment area.
The purpose of this memorandum is to demonstrate that boulevard areas can be developed as streetscape
amenity zones, and that the elimination of medians does not mean that an identity or signature cannot be
created. Refinement of the patterns and elements illustrated in this memorandum will occur with input
from the City Council and city staff.
