MAYOR
Michael I. Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117-1600 ADMINISTRATOR
(651) 484 -2177 / FAX: (651) 484 -4538 Joel R. Hanson
Email: cityhall @ei.little- canada.mn.us
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: February 18, 2000
RE: Strategic Planning Workshop
Based on our discussions at the workshop meeting of February 9, it is my recommendation we
hold a strategic planning session on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at 4:00 pan. in the Council
Chambers of the City Center. Attendance format will be the same that has been used in past
sessions. We will keep a separate vote tally for ranking by the City Council. No information
will be provided to attendees before the session in order that issue perception is not
inappropriately influenced. We will provide the attendees with a copy of our mission statement.
We will also be asking for them to be specific in goal listings.
I am also working on lining up a facilitator for this session. If the Council has any other
comments or directions regarding this matter, please let me know.
JRH:kpp
Page 90
