MINUTES <br />INTERNATIONAL <br />FRIENDSHIP <br />DAYS <br />STOP SIGN <br />AT JACKSON/ <br />LAKE STREETS <br />& SIGNING OF <br />CURVES ON <br />OLD CTY RD C <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LI'iiLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 10, 1996 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of June, <br />1996 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located <br />at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at <br />7:00 P.M. and the following members of the City Council <br />were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Council Member <br />City Admin. <br />City Attorney <br />Cable TV Prod. <br />Admin. Fahey <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />(arr. 7:05 P.M.) <br />Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Mr. Greg Schroeder <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 -6 -133 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MAY 22, 1996 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE MAY 22, <br />1996 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey announced that International Friendship <br />Days will be held July 26, 27, 28, 1996 in Thunder <br />Bay, Little Canada's Sister City, and encouraged Little <br />Canada residents to attend. Additional information on <br />the event can be obtained from City Hall. <br />Fahey reported that the issue of the stop sign at the <br />intersection of Jackson and Lake Streets as well as <br />additional signage on the curves of Old County Road C <br />was previously tabled to give staff an opportunity to <br />observe traffic through the area after completion of <br />road reconstruction.
