Refunds <br />will not be given after the tryout. <br />Registration: <br />Registration will be held during the first part of January every year. Late registrations will also <br />be accepted until February 28 of the current year. There will be no registrations taken after this <br />time unless there is a need to fill a team. The Little Canada Parks and Recreation Department <br />will place information in the LePetit Canadien, the Review, the Roseville Area School District <br />brochure, fliers at Little Canada, St. John's, and St. Jerome's Elementary Schools, and Little <br />Canada's Cable Channel 16. <br />Uniforms: <br />Each participant will receive a sleeveless jersey, T -shirt, and socks. All teams are required to <br />purchase the same color shorts. The participants are encouraged to buy a sliding pad. Teams <br />may add players' names to uniforms. Sponsors' names may be added to uniform shirts with <br />prior Parks and Recreation Department approval. <br />Tournaments: <br />Coaches are encouraged to enter their team in at least two tournaments, in addition to the League <br />and State tournament. Tournaments will be paid for by the players. (Tournaments are not a part <br />of the registration fee.) The Little Canada Recreation Association (LCRA) which subsidizes the <br />youth programs is a non - profit fundraising group within the City that will donate up to $175 <br />toward one tournament entry fee per team. Applications may be requested through the Parks and <br />Recreation Department. <br />Fundraisers /Solicitations: <br />Each team may run its own fundraiser or solicit funds for their team to help offset additional <br />costs such as tournament entry fees, equipment bags, bats, end of the year parties, etc. These <br />funds must be spent during the season that they were generated. A written accounting of all <br />funds generated through fundraisers or solicitations conducted on behalf of all sponsored teams <br />shall be provided to the Parks and Recreation Department by September 1 of each year. <br />Coaches: <br />If more than one person wants to be head coach of a team, previous coaching experience will be <br />given consideration. The Parks and Recreation Department will make the selection. Head <br />coaches will select their assistant coaches. <br />Photographs: <br />The Parks and Recreation office will coordinate team pictures. <br />Page 241 <br />
