II. Electronics. Computers and peripherals, televisions, video display device, printers,
<br />FAX machines, DVD players, video cassette recorders and other devices as acceptable
<br />by the Contractor and the State. Electronics does not include any device with a cathode
<br />ray tube (CRT). All definitions of electronics are as defined by State law.
<br />I. Food Waste. Garbage, as defined below, kitchen scraps, and garden waste as would be
<br />deemed acceptable by Ramsey County and their compost collection points.
<br />J. Garbage. Waste material, animal, or vegetable that results from the handling,
<br />preparation, cooking, service, and consumption of food.
<br />K. Multi - family Dwelling. Residential premises with greater than two living units and
<br />which have centralize solid waste and recyclable materials collection service for all
<br />units in the building and which are billed as one address.
<br />L. Organics. Plant materials co- mingled with food waste and contaminated, non - recyclable
<br />paper.
<br />M. Prohibited Mailings. Notices sent to residential dwelling units within the City of Little
<br />Canada advertising rates or services not available under this contract.
<br />N. Receptacle. Unless specified otherwise, whether referred to as "cart ", "garbage can ",
<br />"plastic bag ", "suitable container ", "cans ", or "containers ", means a container that shall
<br />be of such size and form as to permit collection by one customer. Solid Waste
<br />containers or carts with hinged lids are provided by the Contractor and range in size
<br />from 30 to 96 gallons.
<br />0. Recyclables. Recyclables are reusable materials approved and agreed to by the parties
<br />hereto. Recyclables shall include such items as newsprint, catalogs, magazines, phone
<br />hooks, junk mail, cereal boxes, corrugated cardboard, and miscellaneous paper as long
<br />as it is not contaminated with food or waste, metal and aluminum cans, plastics with a
<br />neck, and glass containers. Recyclables specifically exclude garbage, refuse and yard
<br />waste.
<br />P. Refuse. Refuse is solid waste including garbage and rubbish, and specifically excluding
<br />yard waste, recyclables, and toxic and hazardous wastes. Refuse further excludes
<br />industrial, commercial, agricultural, and construction garbage or rubbish and wastes.
<br />Q. Residential Dwelling Unit. A residential dwelling unit is a separate dwelling place with
<br />a kitchen. A residential dwelling unit shall not include: mobile homes, tri- plexes, four -
<br />piexes, town homes, condominiums, or apartment buildings.
<br />R. Rubbish. Rubbish is solid waste, including ashes, consisting of both combustible and
<br />noncombustible wastes, such as wood, bedding, crockery, and other non - reusable waste.
<br />Rubbish also includes non - recyclable types of glass, paper, cardboard, metal cans and
