"Exhibit A." As indicated in the analysis, these sites also fail to meet the requirements of
the proposed facility.
As shown in the original application, the proposed facility is a relatively short 58' tall.
This is the lowest possible height that meets the coverage objectives for this area while
keeping interference to acceptable levels. I have also attached a copy of the rendering
showing the proposed monopole installed at 300 Little Canada Road. As you can see, the
monopole is slightly taller than the tree line, which acts to help screen this facility. As
you may lcnow, the majority of existing monopoles in the metro area are substantially
taller and thus more visible at 90' to 150' tall.
We respectfully ask to proceed with the CUP application submitted for a US West
Wireless PCS facility to be located at 300 Little Canada Road. It is our understanding
that this will be heard at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for April 8, 1999.
Also, due to the relatively complex nature of siting PCS facilities, we would ask for the
opportunity to meet with the Little Canada Planning Consultant to further discuss this
proposal before the Planning Commission meeting.
Thank you for your time and further consideration of this application.
Kenneth L.
