Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The City is contemplating zoning revisions that would enable the Fra -Dor Recycling
business to continue as an interim use - zoning district with a revised development
agreement whereby the business would be required to cease operation within a defined
time period (currently estimated at 10 years). Drafts of a proposed ordinance and
development agreement will be available at Wednesday's meeting to outline the
framework for this concept should the City Council determine it appropriate to move
forward. In allowed to continue, Fra -Dor would have to comply with issues related to
dust control, tracking on the streets, access points, screening, etc.
The Mayor and City Council would like to obtain feedback from the neighboring
property owners /tenants before deciding on a course of action. You are hereby invited to
a neighborhood meeting to be held before the City Council on Wednesday, March 10,
1999, at 7:30 P.M. at the City Center. Your comments and input will be taken at this
time. You are also welcome to send in written comments prior to this meeting for the
Council's review.
Page 2
