NORTH SUBURBAN SENIOR COUNCIL <br />Our Mission: <br />To promote and provide quality services, educational and social programming <br />for persons over the age of 55 who seek to maintain an independent lifestyle <br />and sustain quality lives. <br />Our Vision: <br />The Roseville Area Senior Program /North Suburban Senior Council will be the <br />focal point in this service area - Roseville Area School District - where persons <br />over the age of 55 will come for volunteer opportunities, recreational and social <br />activities, social networking, sharing of knowledge and experiences, life -long <br />learning enrichment, intergenerational opportunities, access to information and <br />assistance, advocacy on issues of public policy and access to necessary <br />services that enable independent lifestyles. <br />Our Values: <br />• We care about people and the quality of service that we deliver each day. <br />• We advocate aging as a positive experience that enables people to reach <br />their own potential. <br />• We believe people over the age of 55 seek quality and variety in programming <br />to enrich their lives as well as services that maintain independent lifestyles. <br />• We embrace the full range of human diversity and seek to involve diverse <br />populations in all aspects of the Senior Program. <br />• We enable intergenerational experiences in the School District and the <br />community. <br />• We seek to provide a comfortable atmosphere where people can share their <br />knowledge and experiences. <br />• We advocate community building and believe individuals over the age of 55 <br />seek to be a part of a caring community. <br />12/30/98 <br />Page 19 <br />
