Hanson <br />As you know, there have been significant discussions regarding improvements to County Road <br />B2 consisting of a recycled roadway, the installation of concrete curb and gutter, and improved <br />drainage. Attached is a letter received from Ramsey - Washington Metro Watershed District <br />which summarizes the project and details the cost contributions on the part of the respective <br />jurisdictions. You will note that the City of Little Canada is projected to contribute $38,950 to <br />this project for our share of drainage improvements. Additional costs would also be forthcoming <br />in terms of the installation of concrete curb and gutter if that portion of the project proceeds. <br />(Please note that included in the $38,950 amount is $7,500 for easement acquisition. This may <br />not be necessary if we are able to negotiate a right of access for dredging work.) <br />On Tuesday, January 12, 1999, we will be holding the second neighborhood meeting with the <br />County Road B2 residents. The details of the proposed improvements will be discussed. I will <br />have a summary of this information available for Thursday night's meeting. <br />Subject to the outcome of the neighborhood meeting on January 12th, it would be staff's <br />recommendation that the Council authorize us to participate in this project as outlined by <br />RWMWD in an estimated amount of $38,950 to facilitate improvements to County Road B2 <br />between Edgerton and Arcade.
