The Honorable Chairman and Planning Commission
March 8, 1999
Page Four
C. MISCELLANOUS
• A meeting was held between the City of Little Canada, City of Vadnais Heights, and
the developer regarding several of the unique situations in this plat. At this time, no
resolution of these issues have been proposed. The issues are as follows:
-Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 Block 2 fall partially within the City of Vadnais Heights and the
City of Little Canada. The building pads on Lot 1, 2, and 3 Block 2 appear to fall
within the City of Vadnais Heights. How will this be dealt with?
-The water main serving the plat will be partially in Vadnais Heights and partially in
Little Canada. It originates in Vadnais Heights and is fed by the Vadnais Heights
water systems. Who will maintain this system? How will the property owners in Twin
Lake Pines be billed and by whom?
-The sanitary sewer system ties into an existing line within Vadnais Heights. Who
will maintain the system and how will sanitary sewer service be billed?
If you have any questions regarding any of these issues, please call.
Sincerely,
HOWARD R.
