MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 25, 1999 <br />REZONING - <br />FRA-DOR <br />PROPERTY <br />INTERIM <br />USE PERMIT — <br />3137 COUNTRY <br />DRIVE — <br />IItA -DOR <br />OF ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS FOR THE <br />PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator informed Mr. Oberman that the City is in the <br />preliminary discussion stages for a water main improvement for this area. <br />However, it may be another year before that improvement would be made. <br />Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the rezoning of the Fra -Dor <br />property located at 3137 Country Drive from PUD to I -2 District. The <br />Planning Commission has recommended approval of the rezoning. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -5 -122 — REZONING THE FRA -DOR <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3137 COUNTRY DRIVE FROM <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) TO 1-2 DISTRICT AS <br />REQUESTED BY FRANK FRATTALONE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Fahey informed Mr. Frattalone that the City Council will accept Class V <br />surfacing for his outdoor storage area. However, City standards will have <br />to be met with regard to continuous concrete curbing. <br />Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider an Interim Use Permit for <br />aggregate materials stockpiling and recycling at 3137 Country Drive, <br />Fra -Dor. Fahey noted that it is staff's recommendation that action on <br />this permit be tabled until the next Council meeting in order that the <br />specifics of the Development Agreement can be worked out. <br />Page 13 <br />
