POPULATION & AGE CHARACTERISTICS <br />Population information gives an indication of the composition of <br />Little Canada by using it is comparison with other data. Little <br />Canada is a community of 8,971 residents, according to the 1990 <br />Census. As indicated in Table 1 below, population increased by <br />3,621 persons between the years 1970 and 1980, representing a 104 <br />percent increase. Between 1980 and 1990 population increased by <br />1,896 persons or 21 percent.
