09/04/98 FRI 12:03 FAX 6124825232 RAMSEY CO PUBLIC WORKS <br />condition rating of the 1997 Ramsey County Pavement Management <br />System, therefore exempting Ramsey County from providing any <br />compensation from the Roadway Consolidation Fund to the City of <br />Little Canada for this jurisdictional transfer; Now, Therefore, <br />Be It <br />RESOLVED, The City of Little Canada does hereby concur <br />with the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners revoking the <br />"County Road" status of County Road B2 between Edgerton Street <br />and Arcade Street, and from Trunk Highway 49 to Viking Drive; and <br />Twin Lake Boulevard between the Vadnais Heights /Little Canada <br />Border and the Little Canada /Vadnais Heights Border; and <br />transferring jurisdiction over the roadways to the City of Little <br />Canada; and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, The Ramsey County Public Works Department will <br />make the necessary drainage improvements and recycle and overlay <br />County Road B2 between Edgerton Street and Arcade Street; and <br />make the necessary drainage improvements and sealcoat County Road <br />B2 between Trunk Highway 49 and Viking Drive as part of the <br />Department's 1999 maintenance program; and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, The transfer of jurisdiction will be effective <br />the first day of the first month after the Ramsey County Office <br />of Budgeting and Accounting has encumbered the funds necessary to <br />fund the drainage, recycle /overlay and sealcoat projects, and <br />after the County is in receipt of an adopted resolution from the <br />City of Little Canada concurring with the County revoking the <br />"County Road" status of County Road B2 from Edgerton Street to <br />Arcade Street, and from Trunk Highway 49 to Viking Drive; and <br />Twin Lake Boulevard from the Vadnais Heights /Little Canada Border <br />to the Little Canada Vadnais Heights Border; and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, That upon turnback to the City of Little Canada <br />from Ramsey County the segments of County Road B2 between <br />Edgerton Street and Arcade Street and between Trunk Highway 49 <br />and Viking Drive, and the segment of Twin Lake Boulevard between <br />the Vadnais Heights /Little Canada Border and the Little <br />Canada /Vadnais Heights Border, be and hereby are established, <br />located, and designated Municipal State Aid Streets of said City, <br />subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of <br />the State of Minnesota; and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, The Little Canada Engineer is authorized within <br />the limits of this resolution to take actions necessary to have <br />the identified jurisdiction changes executed. <br />Page 45 <br />X1004 <br />
