MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 2012 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />WORKSHOP The City Administrator recommended that the workshop meeting with <br />WITH Ramsey County Sheriff Bostrom be rescheduled from October 10, 2012 <br />SHERIFF <br />BOSTROM to November 14, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. The Administrator reported that <br />Sheriff Bostrom is not available on October 10th. The Administrator <br />indicated that in addition to the report from Sheriff Bostrom, there may be <br />some information update items presented by City staff. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012-9-172 — RESCHEDULING THE OCTOBER <br />10, 2012 COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING TO WEDNESDAY, <br />NOVEMBER 14, 2012 AT 6:00 P.M. THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS <br />TO RECEIVE A REPORT FROM RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF <br />BOSTROM AND AN INFORMATION UPDATE FROM CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL FOR The City Administrator recommended that a Budget Workshop be <br />BUDGET scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. The <br />WORKSHOP Administrator indicated that the focus of this workshop will likely be <br />capital improvement and some additional budget areas. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -9 -173 — CALLING A 2013 BUDGET <br />WORKSHOP FOR WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2012 AT 6:00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANABURY The City Administrator reported that Dana Morrone, a prospective buyer <br />SQUARE HIA of a unit at Canabury Square Condominiums, contacted him to propose <br />ASSESSMENT a scenario wherein he would pay the principal balance of the Housing <br />Improvement Area (HIA) assessment and then continue to pay what the <br />interest on that assessment would have been through property taxes over <br />17 <br />
