Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />3 CONVERSION PROJECT <br />The Public Works Director provided an overview of the project scope and the Development <br />greement with Ramsey County. He explained how this project is linked to the City's strategic <br />priorities, noting that this project was included in the Capital Improvement Plan and <br />recommended approval as presented. <br />Miller asked if the city received a Safe Routes to School grant for this project. The Public Works <br />Director replied that the city did not receive a grant from that program but noted that the County <br />did receive some grant funding for the project. He explained that grant does not include <br />sidewalks, which is why the city has to pay for that portion of the cost. <br />Mayor Fischer asked if the 4-3 conversion project would include updates to the timing of the <br />traffic lights to cycle traffic more efficiently. The Public Works Director was unsure. He <br />explained that the problem with that intersection is that vehicles are coming up. a hill from each <br />direction and noted that there are different restrictions on how traffic lights work under those <br />conditions. <br />Malone introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Resolution declared adopted. <br />APPROVE CITY BRAND STYLE GUIDE <br />The Assistant City Administrator provided background information on the city logo and the <br />process that staff followed for the brand and logo redesign with Neuger. She presented the <br />updated logo, which incorporated the suggestion from the City Council in its last review. She <br />presented the brand style guide and explained how it would be used and the details of <br />implementation. <br />Mayor Fischer thanked the Assistant City Administrator for all her work on this, noting that a <br />style guide is valued in terms of branding, consistency, and accessibility. <br />Miller recognized the work that has gone into this process and expressed appreciation to the <br />Assistant City Administrator. <br />7 <br />
