<br />Little Canada City Code 827-4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />B. Zoning Requirement. The City’s Zoning Code identifies where the variety of cannabis <br />businesses defined by the state of Minnesota can locate with the city. Land which is outside of <br />the minimum buffer requirements established in Section 827.050 may still be ineligible for all <br />or some cannabis businesses depending on the assigned zoning designations. <br /> <br />827.060 Local Registration Application. <br />A. Application Submittal. The City of Little Canada shall issue a local retail registration to a <br />state-licensed cannabis retail business that adheres to the requirements of Minn. Stat. 342.22, <br />and which qualifies for a registration under the provisions of Chapter 827. <br />1. An applicant for a local retail registration shall fill out an application form as provided by <br />the City of Little Canada. Information required on the form shall include, but is not limited <br />to: <br />(a) Full name of the property owner and applicant; <br />(b) Address, email address, and telephone number of the applicant; <br />(c) The address and parcel ID for the property which the retail registration is sought; <br />(d) Certification that the applicant complies with the requirements of local ordinances <br />established pursuant to Minn. Stat. 342.13. <br />2. The applicant shall include with the form: <br />(a) The required local registration fee as outlined in Section 827.060(B); <br />(b) A copy of a valid state license or written notice of OCM license pre-approval; <br />(c) A narrative describing the proposed business; <br />(d) A site plan showing the building to house the business, available parking; <br />(e) Floor plans for the proposed business which show compliance to all MN Building <br />Code requirements. <br />(f) A security plan addressing issues surrounding parking, traffic, securing of monetary <br />transactions, any on-site security personnel, building security and alarm systems both <br />internal and external, screening, lighting, window and door placement, landscaping, <br />and hours of operation. <br />(g) A plan for ventilation of the establishment that describes the ventilation systems that <br />will be used to prevent any odor of cannabis off the premises of the business. Such plan <br />shall also include all ventilation systems used to control the environment for the plants <br />and describe how such systems operate with the systems preventing any odor leaving <br />the premises. For businesses that produce cannabis-infused products, such plan shall <br />also include all ventilation systems used to mitigate noxious gases or other fumes used <br />or created as part of the production process <br />3. Once an application is considered complete, the City of Little Canada shall process the <br />registration fee and forward the application to the Community Development Department <br />for review.
