More <br />specifically, the request is to allow the existing use to continue as an interim use until <br />such time as the property is sold. The applicant is also proposing outdoor storage on <br />the site. The subject site is zoned PUD, Planned Unit Development and is guided for <br />commercial land uses. The site is .96 acres in size, with just 70 feet of frontage along <br />Rice Street. <br />Zoning <br />The subject site is zoned PUD, Planned Unit Development. The purpose of the PUD, <br />Planned Unit Development District is to provide for the integration and coordination of <br />land parcels as well as the combination of varying types of residential, commercial and <br />industrial uses. <br />Analysis <br />The subject site currently contains a single family home, a detached garage, and a <br />second detached garage utilized as a warehouse. The applicant has indicated the <br />property is currently for sale, and has requested the interim PUD permit to operate the <br />site as existing until it is sold.
