MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
APRIL 10, 1997
ADJOURN
Faulkner reported that signage is planned for the building and will meet
City ordinance requirements. Phil Franklin indicated there is the
occasional salesman or UPS truck to the office. Materials are delivered
directly to job sites. However, he would like signage identifying the
building.
Faulkner indicated he would submit additional detail to the City Planner
for review and approval prior to the issuance of a building permit.
Keis indicated that he does not know enough about building materials to
comment on the fading issue. Keis stated that he appreciates the changes
Franklin Drywall is willing to make to meet the City's architectural
guidelines.
Faulkner pointed out there is the option of painting the block. However,
then there are peeling and maintenance issues to deal with. It was pointed
out that the addition for Bob's Cycle is grey.
Keis recommended architectural approval of the Franklin Drywall
development proposal subject to compliance with recommendations #2
through #5 as contained in the City Planner's report dated April 8, 1997,
waiving recommendation #1 conditioned that rock -face block be used to
construct the building, and subject to review and approval by the Planner
of revised plans reflecting the architectural improvements outlined by the
City Planner.
Motion seconded by Montour.
Motion carried 4 — 0.
Montour recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Keis.
Motion carried 4 — 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
Respe tfully submi ted,
Kathy G1a{zer
Administrative Assistant
Page 49
