2050 Comp Plan <br />June, 2026 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Task 8: Chapter 6 Water Resources- Water Supply <br />We (City Engineer) will update the Water Supply chapter to build upon the existing 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan, recent developments, public projects, and the current water supply plan. <br />We will not be creating or generating the required data. Additional technical analysis <br />completed at the direction of the city engineer under a separate contract. This update will meet <br />the Metropolitan Council’s minimum requirements and include: <br />• DWSMA Risk Table by land use <br />• Water Resource Goals and Strategies <br />• Private Well Information and response to comments <br />• Local water supply plan incl map and future growth <br />• Water Supply Policies and strategies <br />• Water demand forecast and differences <br />• Future demand strategies and improvements <br />• Water appropriation description, strategies and comments <br />• Emergency preparedness <br />Task 9: Chapter 7 – Water Resources: Surface Water <br />We (City Engineer) will update the City’s Surface Water Management chapter by leveraging the 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan and available information from Ramsey County Metro Watershed District. This <br />update will incorporate general language revisions, updated figures and exhibits, and other changes <br />required by regulatory agencies and stakeholders to meet the Metropolitan Council’s minimum <br />requirements. We will not be creating or generating the required data. Additional technical <br />analysis is to be completed at the direction of the city engineer under a separate contract. Key <br />tasks include: <br />• Review Each Section and identify necessary text updates <br />• Update Surface Water Management Plan Tables, as needed <br />• Analyze and Revise Existing Maps and Figures, incorporating the best available data <br />• Update Drainage System Maps to meet minimum requirements <br />Task 10: Chapter 8 Parks and Trails <br />We will develop a Parks and Trails Chapter that builds off an updated Parks Master Plan that is <br />being created separately and outside of the 2050 Comp Plan project. We will prepare a Parks <br />chapter that meets the Metropolitan Council’s minimum requirements and includes: <br /> <br />• Park and Trail Map, with accompanying descriptions <br />• Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Parks <br />
