RCS <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />Nominal costs would be associated with signage and engagement efforts. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Commission: <br />At the June 4, 2026, Parks and Recreation Commission meeting, members discussed current <br />industry trends and safety concerns related to e-bikes. The commission made a motion of <br />support for city staff to continue research and pursue potential policy direction for e-bike use in <br />Little Canada parks and trails. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends council feedback and discussion, and to provide direction to staff for <br />potential next steps, which may include bringing a code amendment to a regular Council meeting <br />in the near future. <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />• Draft amendment to Ch.2601 Control and Management of Parks and Park Facilities <br />
