I am confident that this scope of work can <br />probably be accomplished for less than the established construction budget amount of <br />$98,500. Please refer to the enclosed photocopies of the Preliminary Design <br />Development Plans for additional information. <br />Lower Level <br />1. Exits: <br />a. Exit door with panic hardware near the kitchen. Corridor headroom along <br />the route to this exist is adequate. <br />b. Exit doors with panic hardware near the assembly space. <br />2. Stair. <br />a. One -hour rated enclosure and 60 minute door with Iockset and panic <br />hardware at the bottom of the stairs. <br />3. Toilet: <br />a. Unisex toilet with water closet, lavatory and toilet specialties at the lower <br />level. <br />4. Kitchen: <br />a. Vent connection for kitchen sink. <br />b. Separation wall between kitchen and adjacent mechanical appliances. <br />c. Relocation and replacement of the existing hot water heater. <br />d. Rated closures at upper level floor slab openings. <br />5. Mechanical /Electrical: <br />a. Adequate ventilation air changes for an A -3 occupancy. <br />b. Adequate clearance at lower level duct furnace flue pipe. <br />c.
