Application fees: $194 for single and double dwellings, $514 for other conditional use <br />permits, or $803 for a planned unit development. Conditional use permit revisions are <br />$39 for single and double- dwellings and $111 for other revisions. In addition, you must <br />include $15 to pay the County for recording a City resolution. Make check to the City of <br />Maplewood. The application fee is not refundable. The recording fee is retlmdable if the <br />City Council denies your application. <br />NOTES <br />Try to discuss your proposal with adjacent property owners before you submit a formal <br />application. Any conflicts that you can resolve ahead of time will make it easier and <br />faster for the City to process your application. <br />2. The Director of Community Development may require a consultant, such as a landscape <br />architect, forester or appraiser, to review your application. If the Director requires a <br />consultant's review, you must provide a cash escrow to pay this fee. One of the planners <br />will notify you if the Director requires a consultant. <br />3. In addition to the application fee for a conditional use permit, the City shall charge the <br />following fee at the time of issuing a permit for mining. This fee shall be based on the <br />quantity of material identified in the penult. This fee shall not be refundable. <br />1 to 10,000 cubic yards: $350 for the first 1,000 cubic yards plus $250 for each <br />additional 1,000 cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />10,001 to 100,000 cubic yards: $2,500 for the first 10,000 cubic yards, plus <br />$1,950 for each additional 10,000 cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />100,001 cubic yards or more: $20,000 for the first 100,000 cubic yards, plus <br />$1,600 for each additional 10,000 cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />4. The proposed construction must be substantially started nr the proposed use utilized <br />within one year of Council approval or the permit shall become null and void. The <br />Council may grant up to one one -year extension of the permit if just cause is shown. This <br />requirement shall not apply to PUDs with an approved phasing plan. <br />PROCEDURE <br />1.
