Tangen. The City agrees to reimburse or to pay said expenses, <br />subject to approval by the City Administrator. <br />12. HOURS OF WORK. The position of Public Works Director will <br />require over an average of 40 hours per week to successfully <br />discharge the duties assigned. It is also understood that the <br />position will require occasional attendance at evening meetings <br />and weekend meetings. It is understood by Tangen that additional <br />compensation and compensatory time shall not be allowed with <br />reference to any such additional expenditures of time. It is <br />further understood that Tangen may absent himself from the office <br />to a reasonable extent in consideration of extraordinary time <br />expenditures for evening and weekend meetings at other than <br />normal working hours. <br />13. AUTOMOBILE. Tangen shall be paid mileage at the rate <br />established by the City (currently $.30 per mile) to use his <br />personal automobile for City business. This rate may be adjusted <br />by the City from time -to -time in conjunction with changes to <br />Internal Revenue Service regulations. The City will provide <br />transportation while on duty. This vehicle may be taken home in <br />emergency conditions, subject to approval by the City <br />Administrator. <br />14. EMPLOYMENT AT -WILL. Nothing in this Agreement shall <br />prevent, limit or otherwise interfere with the right of the City <br />Council to terminate the services of Tangen at any time, for any <br />Page 65 <br />
