JAN -10 -1996 16:25 FROM SWEENEY BORER & OSTROW TO LITTLE CANADA P.08 <br />Tangen. The City agrees to reimburse or to pay said expenses, <br />subject to approval by the City Administrator. <br />12. HOURS OF WORK. The position of Public Works Director will <br />require over an average of 40 hours per week to successfully <br />discharge the duties assigned. it is also understood that the <br />position will require occasional attendance at evening meetings <br />and weekend meetings. It is understood by Tangen that additional <br />compensation, overtime compensation, and compensatory time shall <br />not be allowed with reference to any such additional expenditures <br />of time. It is further understood that Tangen may absent himself <br />from the office to a reasonable extent in consideration of <br />extraordinary time expenditures for evening and weekend meetings <br />at other than normal working hours subject to approval of the <br />City Administrator. <br />13. .AUTOMOBILE. Tangen shall be paid mileage at the rate <br />established by the City (currently $.30 per mile) to use his <br />personal automobile for City business. This rate may be adjusted <br />by the City from time to time in conjunction with changes to <br />Internal Revenue Service regulations. The City will provide <br />transportation while on duty. This vehicle may be taken home in <br />emergency conditions, subject to approval by the City <br />Administrator. <br />6 <br />Page 9 <br />
