JAN -10 -1996 16:25 FROM SWEENEY BORER & OSTROW TO LITTLE CANADA P.09 <br />14 "AT WILL" EMPLOYMENT, Tangen understands and agrees that <br />his employment with the City of Little Canada is "at will" and <br />may be terminated without cause, without the need to indicate a <br />specific reason, and with or without notice at any time at the <br />option of either himself or the City of Little Canada. <br />As an "at will" employee, Tangen understands and agrees that <br />neither this document, any policy of the City of Little Canada, <br />nor any representation made by the City to him shall be construed <br />to constitute a contract of employment or a modification to his <br />"at will" employment. <br />Tangen understands and agrees that his position as a department <br />head is specifically excluded: from the Little Canada Personnel <br />Policy and that the provisions contained in said Personnel Policy <br />have no application to his employment, except as stated herein. <br />A11 rights governing my employment relationship with the City are <br />set forth in this Agreement. <br />15. SPECIAL LEAVE, City will allow Tangen to take three working <br />days off in March of 1996. Tangen will have the choice of taking <br />three days off without pay or as an advance against future <br />vacation accrual. Tangen shall give the City Administrator at <br />least two weeks notice of the exact dates of leave and his choice <br />as to compensated or uncompensated leave. <br />'7 <br />Page 10 <br />
