AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 818 <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />REGARDING PAWN SHOPS AND PAWNBROKERS <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 818.030 (C) of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />818.030. (C) Separate Licenses Required. A separate <br />license is required for each place of business for <br />pawnbrokers or secondhand goods dealers. A pawnbroker may <br />not conduct, operate or engage in the business of secondhand <br />goods dealer without having obtained a secondhand goods <br />dealer license in addition to a pawnbroker license. A <br />secondhand goods dealer may not conduct, operate or engage <br />in the business of pawnbroker without having obtained a <br />pawnbroker license in addition to a secondhand goods dealer <br />license. <br />Section 818.120 (C) of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />818.120. (C) subject to the provisions of law, a person who <br />within five years of the license application date has been <br />convicted of receiving stolen property, sale of stolen <br />property or controlled substance, burglary, robbery, damage <br />or trespass to property, felony theft, larceny, fraud, or <br />any law or ordinance regulating the business of pawnbroker <br />or secondhand goods dealer, or any violation or failure to <br />comply with the requirements set out in Minn. Stat. §364.03; <br />Section 818.130 (B) of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />818.130. (B) if the premises is located within 300 feet of <br />a school or church or if the premises is located within 10 <br />driving miles of a casino; <br />Section 818.150 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1 <br />Page 26 <br />
