MINUTES
Planning Commission
Jan. 10, 1985
Jim Eddy
(Cont.)
Greg Grady
Used Car
Lot License
Budget Auto
Mr. Davison stated that the City has set procedures that should be
followed and they were not in this case. Davison stated that he
did not want to act on this proposal when the process has been
circumvented.
Mr. DeLonais recommended tabling of the Jim Eddy home occupation
permit.
Motion seconded by Mrs. Kingsbury.
Motion carried 8 — 0.
Mr. Greg Grady of 31 Owasso Blvd., which is located across from Buck
Blacktop, appeared before the Commission requesting- approval of a
used car lot license.
Mr. DeLonais pointed out that this is not on the agenda and the
Commission has no information on it.
Mr. Grady reported that he is scheduled for a public hearing on this
for January 23 and he was told to appear at the Planning Commission
meeting on January 10.
The Planner stated that he has seen a couple of items in this office
on this, but no report was ordered.
Mr. Grady reported that he basically wholesales cars and needs a
license for two or three cars on the property. Grady reported that
he already has his permit from the State and that the Building
Inspector informed him that the public hearing would he a formality.
Mr. Grady is already operating his business.
Mr. Grittrnan asked if Mr. Grady has seen anyone in the office. Mr.
Grady replied that he was in the office about two or three weeks ago
on the matter.
Mr. DeLonais did not feel that the Commission could act on this
matter with no information. Mr. DeLonais suggested that the matter
be tabled.
Mr. Grady stated that he had no problem with this as he is operating
and does have his permit from the State.
Mr. Richard Fritz of Budget Auto appeared before the Commission.
Mr. Fritz reported that the original used car lot on Rice and County
Road C was approved for 15 cars on the lot. When he came to the
City in March of 1983 he submitted basically the same proposal as
the first lot with the exception that 30 cars be approved.
Page —6—
