Steneroden Mr. Davison would not be in favor of any rezoning or variances <br />(Cont.) until all other possibilities are exhausted. <br />Mrs. Uroehle, 67 County Road C, a spectator from the audience, <br />is of the opinion that nothing should be done until someone <br />develops a long range plan for the whole area. <br />Mr. Du harme made the following motion: <br />Keeping the Steneroden property as R -1. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Peringer. <br />Motion carried 8 -0. <br />Zietlow Mr. James Zietlow presented to the Planning Commission his plans <br />Variance for a closed deck and an open deck following along the side of <br />his house. He is requesting a rear yard set back variance. He <br />stated that both neighbors were in favor of the variance. Mr. <br />Nagovsky, Building Inspector, checked the site on April 3, 1985 <br />and recommended granting the variance as an extension of an al- <br />ready granted variance. <br />Mr. DuCharme made the following motion: <br />Granting the variance to Mr. James Zietlow. <br />Seconded by Mr. Herkenhoff. <br />Motion carried 8 -0. <br />McCulloch Ray McCulloch and Keith Harstad applied for a Conditional Use Permit <br />Harstad for a PUD pertaining to the construction of an office building and <br />CUP mini - storage building on Rice Street. Mr. Bill Stenger, Associate <br />and Fee Owner of the property involved, appeared before the Planning <br />Commission. In 1960 he bought the square block of County Road C <br />and Rice Street and this parcel is what is left of the property. <br />The buildings will be stucco and wood, approximately the same type <br />as his other buildings. He has met with the Engineer in regards <br />to the drainage in this area, and will put in a storm sewer at his <br />cost. The office building will be for general rental. The mini - <br />storage will have not outside storage. <br />Mr. Mary Sigstad, owner of the car wash on Rice Street, stated that <br />there is a discrepancy between the property owners on the lot lines. <br />It was the consensus of the Commission that his problem should be <br />resolved by the owners. <br />Page -3- <br />
