Bordsen Mr. Dirk Bordsen addressed the Commission with his request to <br />Rezoning rezone from R -1 to R -2 the vacant lot at 2731 Lakeshore Avenue <br />for the purpose of constructing a duplex. A building permit for <br />a duplex had been issued for this property at one time and was <br />later voided. <br />The Planning Commission discussed the new ordinance pertaining <br />to duplexes and the size of the lot. <br />Mrs. Lucille LaBore, 2727 Lakeshore, explained that she had <br />signed an easement on the property for a driveway to the home <br />of Lois La ©ore and stated that the property has never been zoned <br />R -2. <br />Mr. French made the following motion: <br />Leaving the property at 2731 Lakeshore Avenue as R -1. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. Ducharme. <br />Motion carried 8 -0. <br />DeBace Mr. Bob DeBace presented to the Commission his proposal to split <br />Lot Split a piece of property on Country Drive into four lots. He was also <br />asking for permission to put up two buildings under a PUD. Access <br />to the rear property would be on the deed. They would be metal <br />buildings. <br />The Planner has reviewed this proposal. However, he has not yet <br />presented a report. <br />Mr. Ducharme questioned the future of the buildings if they were <br />to be sold to another owner. <br />Mr. Herkenhoff made the following motion: <br />Recommending to the Council acceptance of the PUD <br />and land split proposed by Mr. DeBace. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Peringer. <br />Motion carried 8 -0. <br />Mr. DeBace then requested permission to build these buildings and <br />show the site plans at the next meeting. <br />Mrs. Timmons made the following motion: <br />Tabling the action on the buildings until the <br />Planning Commission has information 10 days before <br />the meeting. <br />Seconded by Mrs. Kingsbury. <br />Motion carried 8 -0. <br />Page -5- <br />
