-3- <br />In event that any dogs, cats, or other impounded animals are <br />unclaimed after five (5) days, they shall become the property,of <br />M.A.P.S.I. and may be disposed of or sold at their discretion. <br />All proceeds from the disposition of <br />such animals may be retained <br />by M.A.P.S.I., including any proceeds recieved from any animals <br />disposed of in accordance to Minnesota Statutes 35.71. <br />8. The City shall furnish to M.A.P.S.I. all forms, license <br />and pound reciepts ans license tags as specified in the ordi- <br />nance, and M.A.P.S.I. shall keep records of all animals impounded <br />together with a description of the same. <br />9. M.A.P.S.I. shall equip all vehicles with two way radios <br />and /or other communication equipment and agrees to service and <br />maintain said equipment. <br />10. M.A.P.S.I. shall assume liability for all harm to <br />animals due to its negligence or that of its agents in not <br />properly caring for the same, and agrees to defend any lawsuits <br />arising therefrom. Upon request, M.A.P.S.I. shall provide to <br />the City with proof of public liability insurance including <br />comprehensive automobile liability in an amount of at least <br />$100,000.00 per each claimant and $300,000.00 for each occur- <br />rence. <br />11. M.A.P.S.I. agrees that during the period of this contract <br />it will not, within theState of Minnesota, discriminate against <br />any employee or applicant for the employment because of race, <br />color, creed, national origin, or ancestry, and will include a <br />similar provision in all sub - contracts entered into for the <br />performance hereof.
