Minutes <br />City Council <br />(Cont'd,) <br />October 11, 1978 <br />Don Demont <br />Plumbing <br />Mr. Valento introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -374 - DECLARING OPTION 3 OF THE <br />RAI4SEY COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES REPORT FOR DELIVERY <br />OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AS THE APPROACH TO BE <br />TAKEN BY THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Messrs. Valento, Hanson, DeBace, Nadeau and Jespersen. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. La, Page 300. <br />Mr. Nadeau reported that Don Demont will get a new hot water heater <br />and have a relief valve installed, <br />Pending Area The Council approved the County's proposal for Ponding Area Ditch 7 <br />Ditch 7 at the July regular Council meeting. The County is requesting that <br />the City of Little Canada approve the cost sharing proposal of the <br />County paying 50% of the cost, and the City of Little Canada and the <br />City of Maplewood each picking up 25% of the cost. <br />Nr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -375 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK <br />TO SEND A LETTER TO THE COUNTY STATING THAT THE CITY <br />APPROVES THE COST SHARING PROPOSAL RELATIVE TO PONDING <br />AREA DITCH 7 BUT THAT THE CITY DOES NOT HAVE T_HE MONEY <br />FOR THE PROJECT AT THIS TIME <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr, Jespersen. <br />Ayes (5) Messrs. Hanson, Jespersen, DeBace, Nadeau and Valento. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. )L, Page 300. <br />Planning The time of Planning Commission Meetings will change from the month <br />Commission of October through the month of March. Planning commission meetings <br />Meeting will start at 7:30 P.M. <br />Change <br />Drainage Engineer Carley reported that he has met with the County several <br />Problems times on the drainage problems of Carla Lane. Maplewood is in the <br />process ofbuying land for ponding areas. This would be a solution <br />to the proble'h on Carla Lane. However, until this occurs a temporary <br />solution would be to have the County replace a drainage pipe that <br />was removed and divert the drainage temporarily to the lake; <br />Page -8- <br />
