Minutes City Council (Cont'd.) October 11, 1978 Mir. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -385 - AUTHORIZING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT'S USE OF CITY WATER WITHOUT CHARGE AND THE INSTALLATION OF A WATER METER SO THAT THE WATER USAGE CAN BE MONITORED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. Ayes (5) Messrs. Hanson, Nadeau, DeBace, Valento and Jespersen. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 4, Page 306. Water Damage Mr. DeBace reported that the damage the City Center recently sustained to City Center from water leakage is being calculated. When the total costs are. compiled they will be submitted to the contractor who caused the damage. Metropolitan Mr. Hanson announced that a letter has been received by Mr. John Bolan Council Chairman of the Metropolitan Council inviting the Council of Little Meeting Canada to an informal meeting on Thursday, October 19,1978 at 7:30 P.M. in the North St. Paul City Hall. Sr. Citizen Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Deferred Assessment RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -386 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION Mrs. Haynes FOR A SENIOR CITIZEN DEFERI*IENT FOR WATERMAIN ASSESSMENT FROM MRS. HAYNES SUBJECT TO COUNTY APPROVAL Heating Permit Fees The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. Ayes (5) Messrs. DeBace, Nadeau, Hanson, Jespersen and Valento. Nayes (0). Mr. Valento introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -387 - INCREASING THE COMMERCIAL PERMIT FEES FOR AIRCONDITIONING TO $25.00. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. Ayes (5) Messrs. Valento, Nadeau, Jespersen, DeBace and Hanson. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted.
