MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 25, 2006 <br />a six-month review. At that time, the City will ask for another report from <br />the Sheriff's Department on this business. Blesener suggested that Carrier <br />keep in contact with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department on any <br />suspicious activity in his neighborhood. <br />SANITARY The City Administrator reported that the proposed changes to the City's <br />SEWER Sanitary Sewer Ordinance relate to the sump pump portion of the <br />ORDINANCE ordinance and bring it into compliance with constitutional requirements. <br />These changes are recommended by City's counsel, Pete Regnier, <br />involved in the Plisner litigation. <br />The City Attorney reported that he discussed the changes with Mr. <br />Regnier, whose recommendation is for adoption of the changes. Mr. <br />Regnier feels that these changes will bring Che Plisner litigation closer to <br />resolution. <br />Blesener suggested that the order of paragraphs E and F be reversed. The <br />Administrator indicated that that change would be made. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-I -79 - ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 205.080 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL CODE, AS RELATES TO <br />SANITARY SEWER/SUMP PUMP INSPECTIONS AS DISCUSSED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NO The Public Works Superintendent reviewed his report dated January 18, <br />PARKING 2006 recommending that both sides of Desoto Street from LaBore Road <br />ON north to the first curb cuts be posted as no parking. The Superintendent <br />DESOTO indicated that there are approximately 12 to 15 cars parking on the <br />STREET street in this area. Due to this on-street parking, the Public Works <br /> Department has not been able Co plow the full width of the street. IC <br /> appears that these cars are coming from Montreal Courts. The <br /> SuperintendenC noted that there is adequate room in the apartment parking <br /> loCforChese vehicles. <br />Blesener agreed that the west side of Desoto Street should be posted as no <br />parking at any time, but suggested that the east side be posted no parking <br />between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Blesener noted that this would <br />eliminate overnight parking, would allow the residents in the area to have <br />
