District 4 - Citizens commented that they would like to keep Bryan and
(Cont.) LaBore Roads deadend.
District 5
District 6
One citizen expressed concern that some of the property in
this planning district was zoned residential and some was
zoned commercial. The party felt that the district should be
zoned either all residential or all commercial, preferably
residential.
Another citizen stated that it was his desire that the property
already zoned commercial remain commercial. The changing of
his property from commercial to residential would cause him to
lose a great deal of money.
Mr. Nielsen suggested that property in this area could remain
both residential and commercial with buffer zones, or there
could be RE zoning in the area.
Both citizens again stated their views as previously mentioned
above.
Mr. Ducharme was very concerned that the planner had suggested
a neighborhood commercial center on the property that he owns
and where he carrys out a truck farming business. The planner
assured Mr. Ducharme that this was just a suggestion and in no
way stated what was going to be done.
There was also concern expressed over Centerville Road being
used as a collector.
District 7 - Concern was expressed over the industrial zoning of District 7
and its effect on homes in the area.
The planner is suggesting that District 7 be zoned as a PUD
mid- density housing area.
One citizen stated that he did agree with the zoning that the
planner suggests.
District 8 - There were no questions concerning District 8.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathleen Glanzer
Recording Secretary
019
Page -2-
