Page 2 <br />Planning Commission <br />June 1, 1978 <br />ART RYAN: <br />Industrial <br />Park <br />ANTLER CORP: <br />Racquetball <br />KROISS <br />DEVELOPMENT: <br />HOWARD LEE: <br />PAUL HARAN: <br />Art Ryan appeared requesting approval of his preliminary <br />plat for development of Ryan Industrial Park. <br />Jack Radford moved that the Engineer study the feasibility <br />of extending Spruce Street across the Burlington Railway <br />Tracks. <br />Gene DeLonais seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried 9 - 0. <br />Mike Fahey moved to approve the Ryan Industrial Park <br />Preliminary Plat pending receipt of a feasibility study <br />from the City Engineer regarding extension of Spruce <br />across the Burlington tracks. <br />Dick Boss seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried 9 - 0. <br />Presentation postponed. <br />Presentation postponed. <br />Howard Lee appeared requesting a special use permit for a <br />building permit to construct a pole barn on his property. at <br />31 South Owasso Blvd. <br />Gene DeLonais moved to grant a Special Use permit as requested <br />for one year duration and renewable thereafter, provided the <br />seven contingencies contained in Planner's May 25, 1978 report <br />are complied with. <br />Earl Rossez seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried 9 - 0. <br />Paul Haran, purchaser of property at 2700 Rice Street, <br />appeared with a rough plan of a proposed subdivision of <br />his property into two lots. <br />Don Pierce and Gloria Bjorklund appeared opposing the <br />subdivision. <br />Virginia Fisher moved to submit Mr. Haran's proposal to <br />the Planner for his recommendations. <br />Joe Vitale seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried 8 - 1. <br />
