MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 22, 2006 <br />2006 The City Administrator reported that based on neighborhood meetings <br />IMPROVE- held last week, the City Engineer is finalizing the plans and specifications <br />MENTS for the 2006 Improvement Projects. The City Administrator <br />recommended that plans and specifications be approved at this time and <br />the projects authorized for bid. He indicated that the earlier the projects <br />get to market, the better likelihood of obtaining favorable pricing. The <br />Administrator indicated that bid opening is proposed for March 29, 2006 <br />aC 9 a.m., with the bid award to be at the April 12'h City Council meeting. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-2-49 -APPROVING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 2006-02, SEXTANT AVENUE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the Following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-2-50 -APPROVING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT TOR BIDS <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT NO.2006-OZ AND 2006-04, MORRISON <br />STREET AND ROSE LANE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-2-57 -APPROVING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 2006-OS AND 2006-06, SAVAGE LANE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
