Keis felt the property was in worse shape than it
was 90 days ago.
Sedaghat asked for additional time to bring the property into compliance
and asked the Council Co give him a deadline. Keis pointed out that the
Council already gave him a deadline.
Sedaghat replied that he is only one person and the Council did not give
him long enough. He has been trying to hire people. Sedaghat stated that
he would appreciate more time, and felt that he has made big progress in
cleaning up the property. Sedaghat felt that the Council only hears what
the City Administrator tells them.
Keis noted thaC he has heard this topic for the past five years.
Sedaghat reported that there is only so much a person can do in 8 hours,
and indicated thaC he has been working on his property for 16 hours each
day.
Blesener pointed ouC that the problem is that most of these cars have been
on the property for a long time and cannot be fixed.
