MINUTES <br />CITX COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 2006 <br />ORDINANCE, BY ESTABLISHING SURFACING REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR DRIVEWAYS AND PARKING AREAS AS PRESENTED BY <br />THE CITY PLANNER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council reviewed the proposed amendment relative to fence permits <br />which removed the reference Yo "building". A permit will still be required <br />for a fence; however, it will be an administrative permit rather than a <br />building permit. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-9-224 -AMENDING CHAPTER 903 OF <br />THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />CODE AS RELATES TO FENCE PERMITS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ZONING Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider an Amendment <br />CODE to the Zoning Code relative to the allowed building materials in the Light <br />AMENDMENT - Industrial District (I-1). The City Planning and the Planning Commission <br />BUILDING recommended approval of an upgrade to the building materials standards <br />MATERIALS in I-1. <br />IN I-I <br />The City Planner noted that the upgrade would eliminate pole type <br />buildings and buildings with metal exteriors in excess of 120 square feeC in <br />the I-1 District. The Amendment also allows non-conforming buildings <br />existing on the date of passage of the ordinance amendment to be <br />expended to 25% of the size of the existing building by use of materials <br />similar to those of the principal structure. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Blesener, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />17 <br />
