MINUTIJS CITY COUNCIL MAY 24, 2006 This condition results in the majority (8 feet) of the existing 0 foot non-conformity. The house is a two bedroom home with a small kitchen and no garage. The addition is intended to increase the space Co three bedrooms and provide family dining area. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was closed. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2006-5-IIS -APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE EXPANSION OF A NON- CONFORMING STRUCTURE AS WELL AS A VARIANCE TO ALLOW A FRONT YARD SETBACK OF LESS THAN THIRTY (30) FEET AS REQUESTED BY TONIA AND BRIAN BEVERS FOR PROPERTYAT 2367 McMENEMY STREET SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING FINDINGS OF FACT IN SUPPORT OF THE VARIANCE: o To the west is a steep slope into a wetland that restricts the ability to add to that direction. o To the south is the Williams gas pipeline easement -within one foot of the lzouse -that restricts expansion in that direction. o To the east is McMenemy Street. o The McMenemy Street right-of--way is 66 feet iu width, wider than the City's standard residential street of 50 feet. This condition results in the majority (8 feet) of the existing 70 foot zzon-conformity. o The house is a two bedroom hozne with a small kitchen and no garage. The addition is intended to increase the space to three bedrooms and provide family dining area. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. AMENDM);NT Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for TO CUP - Amendments to Conditional Use Permits for 194/] 96, 3164, and 3175 194/196, 3164, Ryan Lane relative to outdoor storage as requested by Lee Rossow. AND 3175 The City Planner and the Planning Commission have recommended 4
