The addition is intended to increase the space Co <br />three bedrooms and provide family dining area. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-5-IIS -APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE EXPANSION OF A NON- <br />CONFORMING STRUCTURE AS WELL AS A VARIANCE TO <br />ALLOW A FRONT YARD SETBACK OF LESS THAN THIRTY (30) <br />FEET AS REQUESTED BY TONIA AND BRIAN BEVERS FOR <br />PROPERTYAT 2367 McMENEMY STREET SUBJECT TO THE <br />FOLLOWING FINDINGS OF FACT IN SUPPORT OF THE <br />VARIANCE: <br />o To the west is a steep slope into a wetland that restricts the ability <br />to add to that direction. <br />o To the south is the Williams gas pipeline easement -within one <br />foot of the lzouse -that restricts expansion in that direction. <br />o To the east is McMenemy Street. <br />o The McMenemy Street right-of--way is 66 feet iu width, wider <br />than the City's standard residential street of 50 feet. This <br />condition results in the majority (8 feet) of the existing 70 foot <br />zzon-conformity. <br />o The house is a two bedroom hozne with a small kitchen and no <br />garage. The addition is intended to increase the space to three <br />bedrooms and provide family dining area. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
