MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 24, 2006 <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Allan, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Montour pointed out that a property owner could apply for a CUP for a <br />second curb cut and then add impervious surface to his/her property. <br />Allan agreed, but noted that impervious surface could be added whether <br />there was a request for the second curb cut or not. The City Planner noted <br />that the proposed Text Amendment allows the City to require storm water <br />management measures to address drainage issues if the Counci] deems it <br />necessary. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-5-720 -ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 903.050 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY PROVIDING <br />FOR CURB CUT ACCESS TO SINGLE-FAMILY DETACHED <br />PARCELS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TRANSFER Mr. Chou Vang appeared before the Council and reported that he is <br />OF LIQUOR selling Tierney's Liquors to his cousin, Sisouk Vang, and requested <br />LICENSE & approval of the transfer of the Off-Sale Liquor License and Tobacco <br />TOBACCO License to Sisouk Vang. It was noted that the appropriate application <br />LICENSE - documents have been submitted, and the Sheriff's Background Check <br />TIERNEY'S is satisfactory. <br />LIQUORS <br /> Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2006-5-72I -APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF <br /> OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE AND TOBACCO LICENSE FROM <br /> CHOU YANG TO SISOUK YANG OPERATING AS TIERNEY'S <br /> LIQUORS EFFECTIVE JUNE I, 2006 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
