September 4, 1920
i age
:'.r. Deslauries st -ated that he is concerned. that if the ro<_'.'
is not upgraded, he will get much more water run off from a
duplex or tri -ples, than he is all ready getting from a
single family home.
hr. Borg feels that Jackson St. should be improved, but that
it would be "over kill" to reouire a 60' roadway. iJr. Borg stated
that if the tri-plex is built, both he and Nr. Deslauries would
likely want sewer to be brought in also.
hr. Deslauries feels that street and sewer should be brought in,
and that all property owners should be assessed for the improvements,
St. Jude Medical, Inc., as one of the property owners, should
be assessed along with Mr. Borg and Mr. Deslauries.
Dick Boss stated that he is in favor of rezoning all lots to
R -2, any feels a tri-plex is compatable with the area. lie
further stated that although there would be a 60' roadway
right -of -way, that does not mean that the road would be 60'
wide. He also feels that St. Jude Medical, Inc. should dedicate
30' feet to the roadway and be assessed along with the other
property owners.
Motion made by Dick Boss to recommend to the council to reconsider
rezoning all three lots to R -,2, with conditional use permit being
granted for Tar. Borg's tri-plex, and upgrading and bringing in
sewer along that portion of Jackson Street.
Seconded by Joe Vitale.
Iiotion carried 7 -0
Cameron Development - P.U.D. agreement.
hr. Dick Grekoff appeared and stated that questions had been
raised as to surface water drainage and landscaping plans for
the property along County Rd. B that Cameron Dev. wishes to
develop. He stated that the drainage layout had been worked
out with thier architect and Don Carley.
The plans he presented also included locations of existing
foilage on the property. They intend to keep the trees, etc.,
that are presently on the property. They do not intend to
add any additional landscaping.
Notion made by Gene DeLonais to recommend to council that
the city enter into PUD agreement with Cameron Development
subject to them abiding by all codes and zoning ordinances.
Seconded by Joe Vitale.
Motion carried 7 -0
2
