September 4, 1930 <br />Page 3 <br />Brooks Superette - Gas rumps (Jack ':Walsh). <br />vene De.uonais made a motion to taole the matter because no <br />one was present representing Brooks Superette. <br />Seconded by Tom Ducharme. <br />notion carried 7 -0 <br />The letter of resignation from Nr. Frank Winiecki was noted <br />by the Planning Commission members. <br />Should a public hearing be waived for granting variance? <br />(Gee page 11, Section X22.020 (F) ). <br />The Planning Commission members felt that a public hearing <br />should definitely be held when granting a variance. <br />i•otion made by Sharon Timmons to recommend to the council <br />that public hearings hot be waived when granting variances. <br />Seconded by Virginia Fisher. <br />Motion carried 7 -0 <br />Parking signs along Little Canada Rd. in front of old Little <br />Canada School. <br />Dennis Forsberg asked why No Parking signs had been erected <br />in front of old Little Canada School. <br />Dick Boss stated that the county had requested that signs <br />be placed near Mci1enemy Road and Little Canada Rd., and when <br />the county placed the signs, they put them where they used <br />to be in front of old Little Canada school. He said that in <br />1969, the Little Canada Fire Dept., had requested that the <br />no Parking signs be erected there, and since then, the signs <br />had been torn down. He further stated that the city council <br />is aware of the signs and will study the matter, and likely <br />request that they be removed. <br />Dennis Forsberg said that he is concerney.,,because of the lack <br />of parking for Fire Dept. members.
