MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />April 9, 1987 <br />Thunder Timmons pointed out that Mr. Wright is living in his home and is <br />Bay Add. satisfied with it. <br />(Cont.) <br />Mr. Wright reported that he has offered to sell his property to <br />Mr. Valento. <br />Timmons felt that the issue of the road going through to LaBore <br />had to be resolved, and either Valento should remove his home <br />or purchase the Wright property and remove the Wright home. <br />Timmons did not feel the road should be forced on Mr. Wright. <br />Timmons noted that a longer cul -de -sac could be brought in <br />from the north. <br />DeLonais pointed out that when the Council granted concept approval <br />11 months ago it was with the stipulation that the property owners <br />get together to work out the various problems that exist. <br />Timmons noted that those problems have not been worked out. Timmons <br />pointed out that Mr. Valento has the option to remove his house, <br />and did not feel the development should encroach on the right of <br />Mr. Wright to enjoy his property. <br />Valento indicated that he would try to negotiate with Mr. Wright for <br />the purchase of his property, otherwise it might be that he would <br />have to remove his house. <br />Timmons also pointed out the option of bringing a cul -de -sac down <br />from the north. <br />Valento was not in favor of this. Valento commented that he thought <br />the issue of the road going out to LaBore had been resolved. <br />Timmons noted that only concept approval was granted with the under- <br />standing that other issues needed to be resolved. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended that preliminary plat approval for Thunder <br />Bay Addition be denied as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Perlinger. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended that the Thunder Bay Addition be granted <br />preliminary plat approval should a plat be presented with 50 -foot <br />street right -of -way to LaBore Road, with Mr. Valento either <br />negotiating for the purchase of the Wright property or removal <br />of the Valento house and with proper sideyard setbacks being <br />maintained from existing homes. <br />Rage 3 <br />
